Do to the fact that the normal meeting room was occupied for this week, we were forced to hold our meeting outside at the picnic pavilion. What a great place to hold our meeting.

Today’s program was introduced by Karl Reuther, he brought his son Michael to talked to us about his building project so he could get his Eagle Scout medal. His project was to build a shelter over top of the Dronen canoe at the Museum. He figured it would take about $3,000 in material and he would do all the work. He was asking if we would be willing to contribute some money to the cause. Great information about how to become an Eagle Scout and about his community project. Thanks Michael.

After the meeting the board met and approved to donate $500.00 to his cause.

President's Roast Dinner

A great time was had by all tonight at the Annual Presidents Year End Roast.

Here in Cashmere, we take great pride in telling all, both good and more bad about our outgoing President. And tonight was no exception.

We started the evening with a delicious meal prepared by John Bryant, salmon, beef, chicken and plenty of side dishes, along with desert.

After the meal, Debbie Knutsen, last year’s President, was in charge of the evening, and she had plenty of help Roasting JC. The husband of JC, Randy, even took a jab at his wife. Then John Bryant said a good piece, both good and bad, about JC. Then Chuck Dronen gave a long presentation of both humor and fact about JC. After everyone was done a vote was taken by the 3 Past Presidents, whether to allow JC into the Past Presidents Club. She just made it with a 2 to 1 vote to accept her.

JC then got to the podium and had her chance to thank the Board members for all the work they do throughout the year.

Thanks JC, you did a great job as President of our club.
